Purse, Handwriting & Bottle Caps

I have been wanting a new purse, but can't afford one...I am saving up for a new-used car as my old car will undoubtedly bite the dust sometime in the next 2 years and I want to be prepared. So, I took some of that painting craze I have been experiencing lately and applied it to my old purse. The style turned out a bit grungier than I was expecting, but I think I like it :].

I also wasted time today by heading over to fontifier.com and building a font with my handwriting. It is really simple--you print out a template, write on it, scan it in and attach it to the site (they walk you through it). Then for $9 you can have your own handwriting font. I made the 'letter' below in MS word. It is definitely my handwriting though it is a little more wobbly than my handwriting normally is.
Lastly, I must share with you the wholesome meal I am currently partaking in:

We have a gas station about a mile from my house that I call "The Candy Mecca." They have every kind of candy--I swear it. I challenge it every time I go in there...."I wonder if they have..." And they do.

Jess, I like what you have done with the purse. It looks great! You are so creative!
The handwriting is interesting. I always wondered where people got their writen signatures from, I wonder if it is this site?
Thanks again for your comments Jess, my sis will be pleased! I have just emailed ADO Colleen to join the group. I love your custom bag by the way! great idea - they would be a hit on Etsy!

Thank you Joanna/Sue/Abi for your comments on the purse :]. I need to decorate the back too as it suffered a side-effect smattering of white paint during the frontal operation.
Haha, yes that particular handwriting is definitely not for large doses--it will be fun to write a few words here and there though. I think fontifier is the most popular program of its kind, but I know there are other sites that will generate your handwriting into fonts--some are even free I think.
I'm going to have to try out this handwriting font thing. It'll make typing out "handwritten" notes a breeze!
