Pillow Form Collection

Woo! I have completed a new group of 12 Pillow Form Ladies! The above doll is called "Wheat and Wishes." I had a refreshing visit to the coast this last weekend with my dear doll maker friends, (aka the Beach Peeps) and I hadn't yet finished the dolls I was working on, so I brought them along. Once finished, we lined them up on the window sill and let them watch the waves crashing on the shore below the rental house. The weather was very odd this last week--rain and sun switching off before you could put on or take off a sweater. But it was wonderful to escape for a few days--our biannual gatherings are always like giggling girl slumber parties with the addition of Kahlua and Cream and the occassional off color remark.

I have several things brewing at the moment, which is probably why my site has been neglected :]. I have been designing a revamping for my master bathroom. Once I have all the pieces, I will take a few Sundays and put it all together. I am mostly just changing the colors and adding some cozy touches. I'll take pictures once I have something to show! Oh, also... More soon about all the doll-related projects bubbling up (shows, workshops, consignment galleries, new product lines etc.) :].

I feel I should tell you that the V key on my keyboard is misbehaving. It keeps skipping whenever I tap it too lightly. I never knew I used the V key so much. Also, I just watched 4 seasons of the new generation Doctor Who on Netflix while I was finishing these pillow form ladies. I have been saying 'Fantastic' a lot. Here are some more pictures!
