Spoonflower
Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 10:39PM Spoonflower.com is a print on demand fabric site. You can upload your own designs and have them printed onto a variety of fabrics. My sister and I have been playing with designs for the last few months.
Spoonflower has a contest every week where designers submit fabrics based around a specific theme. I haven’t participated in the contests as most of my Spoonflower projects have been behind the scenes (prints and things), but this week I decided to join in the fun. The category is Surreal fruit—anyone can vote for their favorites by going here to the contest page (See right column--the left side shows the previous week's winners. I vote every week, usually for a minimum of 5 fabrics—there are always so many good ones to choose from :]).
This is my fruity fabric (there are 5 different ladies—they show up blurry in the fat quarter view):
This is my sister, Jill’s "Fruit Tarts" fabric (I love it!):
Her username is decobot on Spoonflower—I recommend checking out her designs—they are fun and some are available for sale :].

What a wonderful place spoonflower is. Thank you for sharing this.
I found this lovely site of yours from the back of the bookmark in my Etsy goodies :)
Spoonflower is just an amazing idea! I didn't think anything like this existed.
